Dry air can cause all manner of breathing problems. Of course, you don't want your air becoming too sodden, that's not good either. Wick humidifiers are a great way to solve this, as they naturally release extra moisture into the air without all those clouds of water that forced humidifiers form. Unfortunately, you're not the only one who likes your air moist. All manner of bacteria and molds find it a great vacation spot as well. How do you keep those unsavory types out of your breathing air? Filters, of course. But even filters wear down over time, so keep a few of these on hand. Every three months, retire your old filters (into the bin with them), and pop in a new set. Easy as breathing, as they say.
